Lots of people tend to be very interested in the real lives of Hollywood celebrities, and in our current society there are many ways to keep tabs on your favorite stars. And yet, one of people’s favorite topics among celebrity gossip receives very little actual coverage: the Jolie-Pitt kids! Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are many people’s favorite celebrity couple, and though fans adore their 6 children, many couldn’t tell you the names or differences between them. So here’s a short introduction to one of the world’s most intriguing young families.
- Zahara Marley Jolie-Pitt is an Ethiopian girl born in 2005 who only just turned 7 years old. She was adopted by Angelina when she was still an infant, and has been said to have the “biggest” personality out of the 6 children.
- Maddox Chivan Jolie-Pitt is a 10 year old boy from Cambodia, and was actually adopted when he was less than a year old by Angelina Jolie and then-husband Billy Bob Thornton. Maddox has since adopted the name Jolie-Pitt, like his 5 siblings.
- Knox Leon Jolie-Pitt was born, to Angelina, in 2008 along with his twin sister. He will be 4 years old this coming July 12th, and fans who follow the family seem to be holding their breath to find out how much Knox will come to resemble his father Brad.
- Vivienne Marcheline Jolie-Pitt is Knox’s twin sister, also born on July 12th, 2008. Just as people are expecting (and hoping) that Knox will become a miniature Brad, many comparisons have been drawn between Angelina and her young, biological daughter, as resemblances in personality and appearance are emerging.
- Pax Thien Jolie-Pitt was born Pham Quang Sang in Vietnam on November 29th, 2003. Angelina’s second adopted child, Pax is said to another one of the children who has been labeled as a “survivor,” coming from an orphanage in which he enjoyed few freedoms and luxuries as a toddler.
- Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt was born on May 27, 2006 as Brad and Angelina’s first child together, and as such has arguably become the most famous and recognizable of the children. Though she is the biological daughter of Pitt and Jolie, Shiloh was born in Namibia.
